Qualifications:


  • Qualified Vocal Teacher currently instructing students individually with voice lessons by using the following techniques to enhance their vocal capabilities: widening vocal range and development using warm-up exercises, repetition of breath support activities, acknowledging dynamic and rhythmic interpretations, introducing language pronunciation and articulation concepts, dramatizing character development, and prioritizing basic musical concepts of student assigned repertoire.
  • Accomplished Vocal Music Professional with more than fifteen years of choral and vocal experience participating in a variety of choral groups including: Anchorage Concert Chorus, church choral groups, Okaloosa County Chamber Singers, University of West Florida (UWF) Singers, UWF Madrigal Singers, UWF Show Choir, and Pensacola Opera Company.
  • Implemented an after school music club at AVAIL High School during the 2011-2012 school year by utilizing the Anchorage School District Music Department Curriculum Guide to help with the organization and planning of weekly lesson plans, selection of repertoire, and appropriate emphasis on musical education in a public school setting.
